Walbrzych
Wałbrzych is located in the south-western part of Poland, in the Central Sudety Mountains, in the Lower Silesian province near the Czech and German borders. The city is 450-500 meters above sea level, below the afforested Wałbrzyskie Mountains. Wałbrzych is an urban municipality; its administrative region covers the area of 85 km2. The town has a population of over 120,000.
Wałbrzych can be easily reached – the city is situated near the junction of the A4 highway /40 km/ and the planned A3 highway /29 km/. National Road number 35 runs through Wałbrzych, up to the border crossing point to the Czech Republic in Golińsk.
