On the 27^th of November 2009, the Wałbrzych Municipality, the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone “Invest-Park” Sp. z o. o., and the Lower Silesian Province have established the Industrial Park in Wałbrzych Sp. z o. o. The company manages the real estate located in the Poniatów Economic Activation Zone (SAGOP), with the status of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone.

The company will also be building a production and warehouse facility as part of the infrastructure of the industrial park. In order to realize this goal, on the 11^th of January 2010 a grant application form was submitted in the Marshal’s Office in the Lower Silesian Province, as part of Measure 1.4 “Infrastructure aiding innovation and entrepreneurship in the region” – recruitment nr 30/K/1.4/2009 “Parks and incubators”. The grant application received the number WND-RPDS.01.04.00-02-008/10.

Apart from infrastructure-related activity, the company is a Business Support Institution (IOB); its activities will be non-profit.

The company will be striving to differentiate its offer from that of other Business Support Institutions operating in the region. Besides infrastructure-related activity, its offer will be extended to include a series of additional services, aimed at obtaining investors and supporting companies already located in our region. The Wałbrzych Industrial Park’s offer will include:

• Asistance in obtaining EU grants and other sources of outside funding in order to finance investments for entrepreneurs with headquarters in the Park as well as personnel and employee training,
• Creating an online Wałbrzych Industrial Park personnel database – a free database with employment offers. Access will be granted solely to employers located in the Park, while potential employees will have unlimited access.
• Consultations with a patent attorney cooperating with the park,
• Financial consultations – mainly pertaining to negotiating with financial institutions,
• IT consultancy,
• Promotional and advertising activity,
• Establishing a business and a quick investment procedure thanks to collaboration with the local administration.

The Park is to be the organizer and intermediary of collaboration between business partners, who will be providing the above services on preferential terms to companies located in the Park and to small and medium-sized companies from the Wałbrzych region.
